Week 32: We know that service for others brings us the most joy ever!

Throwback cuando yo estuve con elder G y elder C. (Throw back when I was with Elder G and C.)

How is everyone doing in the good ole state of Utah or where ever you are?!

Here in Uruguay its real nice because the temp has dropped about 20 degrees!! So it feels like a good ole spring day instead of  trying to hike in the middle of death valley haha.

But to begin we will start with the funny weird stories of the week, but there was more than one. So the first funny weird story goes to the dogs of a member. We went to a member's house in the morning because she told us she had some referencias for us, so we get there and we see her throw a bone out the window for her dogs and the before you know it they are fighting light wild beasts over the thing. The mom didn't know what to do because there were biting one another and she started crying and yelling for her husband while Elder Vargas and I tried to separate them, because they were stuck in a corner. So the dad wakes up from his slumber and comes running out and without even thinking he grabs the dog by the tail and throws it like a rag doll across the backyard!! Haha after all was said and down both dogs had miner wounds.

The second thing that happened this week was that we had the opportunity to help a poor little girl that ate it hard on your bike, Elder V and I both saw her fly over the handlebars when she accidentally hit the front brakes. (Has happened to me also.) She hit pretty hard and we ended up calling an ambulance, because everyone that was there thought it would be the best because she was the only one of her family that was at home and were pretty sure she broke her collarbone (something I have also done.) It was nice to help this poor little girl out with the rest of the neighborhood, hopefully it will help soften the hearts of some people so that we can teach them!

There were some other experiences, but I'll stop there for today. This week in the church we had an awesome activity about la historia familiar. The whole ward acted out the el mundo de los espiritus y qué pasa despues de la muerte. A lot of the members were crying in the audience when a spirit called out to see if someone had his name and was doing the work for him in the temple, and sadly nobody had his name so he had to continue waiting. It was one of the best planned activities I have seen, and after all the members were pumped to go to the temple and leave with the missionaries to help en la obra de salvacion!

But to finish, I will leave you all that are capable of going to the temple with the invitation to go to the temple as many times as you can, and do work for those who are waiting for things that they are incapable of doing. Leave worldly things behind to help people receive joy the lasts for eternity. We know that service for others brings us the most joy ever! Whether the person being dead or alive.

I just want to say that I love everyone of you again! I know I say it every week, but I mean it con todo mi corazon! Family, make sure you are doing your family home evenings and are praying and reading the scriptures together, remember the family that prays together, stays together.

Also if you could send me your experiences with tithing next week! Love you all again!
