Week 33: This work has helped me to learn to trust in the Lord with all I've got.

Como estan todos!! parece que se olvidaron de mandar sus experiencias acerca de diezmo! pero esta bien, les perdono. 

So like always we´ll start with the funny weird story of the week!! And this week the funny story goes to mi compañero Elder Vargas!! Haha this week Elder Vargas has been working super hard on his english! And has been saying nothing but funny things! I wish you could hear him talk, has a super funny accent and he hates english, but he really reminds me of a latino version of Elder Bulloch haha. But yeah, I just wanted to let you know that i have been getting along really well with my comp. 

Asi que no se preocupe sobre eso, estoy muy bendecido, the weird story of the week happened while we were walking down the street and some dog ran straight in front of a car, and looked like and sounded like he got smashed, but after the driver realized and stopped, the dog took off like nothing happened. The dogs down here are pretty insane and got more more than one life...reminds me of a quote from the Griswald Family: "If that cat had nine lives, he just used them all up" Haha (that was for you Dad.) I hope you remember that part in the movie.

But this week we had a awesome spirtual experience with the family of Alex and Bruna and their hijito. I´m pretty sure I told you about them two weeks ago. But before we went to Montevideo, we taught him and gave him a Book of Mormon. He was super pumped about it and told us we would read while he was traveling! So this week he came back! So we had a lesson with him the day we got back, and we asked him if we had the read the BOM, and he showed us where he had marked when he stopped, and he was already in Mosiah! I was like yeahh!! So he says yeah i read it....and i didnt like it...... when i heard those words my heart just sunk. I was thinking there is no way he read.... it was silent for a little bit and then Alex started listing all the things he didn't like in amazing detail. And then i was like ohh yeah he read. After all of us were completely stunned we all did the only thing we could think of.. bare testimony. Elder Vargas, I and the member we had with us (who was an ex bishop) started baring testimony and after each one of us finished, Alex changed completely and said 'I believe that what you are saying is true and I will keep reading to find the truth.' It was one of the most spiritual lessons I have had. It started with total disappointment to ending with pure love and hope. 

I know that our father in heaven answers our prayers as long as we pray with a sincere heart and believing that we will receive. 3 Nefi 18:20: this work has helped me to learn to trust in the Lord with all I've got. Mosiah 7:33: and to never doubt his promises. I am grateful for having trust in my Savior, because if i didn't this work would be impossible.
