Week 27: FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!!

Hey everybody! I hope all of you in the states are having in the best of times enjoying the snow, because like Alex said the weather down here is very different!!

To jump right into things we had the bautism of Miguel Lopez this week!!! The story that goes with this bautism is pretty funny. So Miguel has a little bit of a hard time walking, so his neighbor (miembro of the church who also gave us the referencia!) always take him to the church in the car because the church is kind of far away. Anyways this last week leading up to his bautism, the neighbors went out to the city to buy some stuff, and they went into a store bought some stuff, and while they were walking out they saw a car drive away that looked similar to theirs and then saw that they there car wasn't where they parked it, they realized is was theirs!!!! Noo!!! They got stinkin robbed! So we had to find some else that could take Miguel to his bautism, so we called a member named Chineppe, and all was good but the day of the bautism, his car broke down!!! Ahh satan did not want this bautism to happen!! So we called another member like an hour before the bautism, to see if he could take our beloved Miguel to the church and he said yes!! So in the end, it all went well! No matter how hard satan was working! Haha but the bautismal service was great and spiritual! A lot of people from the ward came and supported Miguel and he was nothing but smiles the whole time, his smile his really contagious! He's just a happy guy! Haha but after we had the christmas activity and dinner and us four missionaries acted as the 3 wise men (Elder Wakely was the angel) I´ll send you the pic of us 4 in our little costumes.

But I just want to say how grateful I am for my Savior Jesus Christ and for this time of the year that we have to focus ourselves in him and his birth. These last couple days I have been thinking in the way that our Savior was born into the world and how humble he was even from day one leading up to the end of his life. I know he was born to free us, and he really was our perfect example.

I hope you have all have taken the invitation from Elder Ballard to heart, and have prayed to have the opportunity to talk to someone about this amazing gospel. I know that if we pray to have the opportunities to share the gospel, that they will come, and when they come don't be afraid, you may make a fool out of yourself or maybe it wont just won't come out right haha but I know that we are all here to learn and progress and nothing bad can ever happen from trying to share what you know is true with someone else who needs to know the truth.

I love you family!!! I honestly am so exited to skype with you this wednesday at 6 my time!!!!!!!!!

Love, Elder Watts
