Week 20: I know without any doubt that the family, or even a person individually, that is built on rock of Christ will never fall.

Hey how is everyone doing!? I hope everyone had a great halloween! y que todos éstan llenos de dulces, pero recueden cepillar sus dientes después!

Okay so to begin this email there was a crazy storm this week! That was anounced and that all the people knew about! entonces the day of the storm we decided to teach a lot of the menos activos about el hombre que edificó su casa sobre la roca y el hombre que edificó su casa sobre la arena. And how when we see the storms like the one giant one that was outside! It makes us want to run to homes, because in our homes is where we feel safe and is a place where we can be with our families. But we also dont want to run to our house and see that it is made of sand and that is where Christ comes in, in Christ we can build a home that is strong and that can endure cualquier cosa. So that when those trials come or in other words those storms, we can pass through them easily. and even better we can pass through them with together with our families.

But anyway when the storm began we luckly made it into a house of a member (jesus arrajin) who is a stud!! He is a super fiel member who has such a strong testimony, and hes so humble. He lives a super tiny house with his wife and kids and even though his wife has problems with depression, he is always super happy and grateful for everything he has. Entonces we had a little lesson with them, I love teaching them because it seems that his wife is the most happy when we start to teach, and talk with her but after the little lesson that we had with them it was time to run into the flooded streets while at the same time trying to avoid getting struck by lighting. But hermano arrajin being the capo that he is called and payed for a taxi for us! Entonces we made it to the house with only a few drops of rain. and dont worry mom I paid him back at the church.

But this week was another tough week with our investigadores, patrica and cristian no pudieron atendernos esta semana, and our other invest.. are progessing very slowly. But I have seen so many miracles with the menos activos and especially the uniting of so many families through living the principals of the gospel. I know without any doubt that the family or even a person individually that is built on rock of christ will never fall. No matter how big the storms are, we have a home built on that rock, it makes those storms look like nothin!

I know the church is true. and i know that Jesucristo is my rock, and my savior.

P.S. I met a spanish speaking version of grandpa watts, I will try to get a picture with him next week!
