Greetings from Buenos Aires!
Happy 4th of July to everyone!! I definitely miss not being able to be in Midway for this Holiday! I loved having BBQ´s and watching fireworks! But everrything thing is good in the CCM. Our old group of left this last tuesday so that was a really sad day. But something cool that we do when a group leaves is the night before we all go in the hallway and sing called to serve! It gives me the chills everytime! But today we get about 60 new people in the CCM so time to make some new friends!!
So moving on to proselitismo! This week a was a lot less nervous! In our area there was a McDonalds! So we went inside to check it out! And the food in there is so expensive! A Big Mac is 55 pesos! I think that Mcdonalds is like a delicacy here hahaha. Oh most people dont have doorbells down here so you have to clap, its kinda weird and then usually after you clap, there will be a dog that starts barking at you from the roof! There are so many dogs it is ridiculous!
Okay so one thing I have learned from proselitsmo is that no matter how scary or disinterested someone looks you should always go talk to them. Because for some weird reason the scariest people are the most interested in what we have to say. But I would have to say that the most important thing to remember is to just smile :) I love making people smile and I love telling people we love and care about them, one of my favorite things is telling a family that there family can be together forever and that Heavenly Father loves them. Even though sometimes I cant speak very well, I remember that there is one language that everyone feels and that is the spirit. If they can recognize the spirit then they will know what you are saying is true.
Sorry I was just told that we had to get off! So I love you all and remember to always pray to Nuestro Padre Celestial, he wants to hear from you and will answer your prays, I know that he does.
