How is Everybody!!
Another week in the CCM gone!!! I only have a couple more days and then I am headed off to the City of Montevideo!!! I just got back from the temple about 5minutes ago, I am going to miss that place, every time I pray in the celestial room I start to cry. It is so peaceful.
Before I begin I want to first I want to say happy birthday to the my dearest mother. I love you mom and you are the best mom in the whole world. I miss you so much and I know that you kind of miss me too. I love you. And I hope dad takes you on a special date. If I could I would give you a big hug and a kiss. I hope that you have the best birthday ever, and I am sorry that i cant give you one of my famous massages.
Okay to start it off with proselitismo. We were changed to a different area, it was south of the city. And a lot more poor. It is amazing how the people live in houses that dont even have roofs sometimes. I realized that I wasn't in the states anymore haha. We taught a lot of people again and me and my companions goal was to give out every kind of pamphlet. And we did! It was really hard to give of away the Palabria de Sabiduria (WoW) we talked to this man for about 30 minutes about why we don't drink coffee and we explained the best we could in spanish. And then he asked we have have sexual relations and we told him that we don't unitl after marriage and he was really impressed! haha it was kind of a weird lesson but we invited him to read the pamphlets and pray about them and he said he would, and he wants us to come back next week, but he wouldn't give us his phone number or give us his address so I don't know how that is suppose to work. Hopefully we will run into him again.
But like I said last email there are a ton of dogs! Huge dogs, and because there are a ton of dogs there are also a ton of big you know what. Haha me and my companion were walking back to the pick up point, and he stepped in big thing of doggy dodo. it was pretty funny but we managed to get it off before we got on the bus so that it would stink. haha
Okay so next I just want to bear my testimony on the Power of the Priesthood. This week I was asked by one of my good friends to give him a blessing. I love this Elder with all my heart and I was surprised when he told me that he had a feeling that I needed to give it to him. It was the first blessing I have given in my life, and I was a little nervous but during the blessing I know that I was helped on what to say. I know that the Priesthood is real, I could feel it in my hands after the blessing. I am so grateful that our Father in Heaven trusts us with his power. And I am so grateful for my Father who is a Priesthood holder and who gave me the Priesthood. I love you dad. Tell G man that I love him and that I miss him so much and remind him how great the Priesthood is.
I love you all so much remember to be grateful for what you have and to be grateful for each other. I will send pictures to Darrian.
