How has everyone been this week! Todo bien!!? The house looks like it is coming along awesome! Remember to save me a room (preferable one that is bigger than g´s) haha jk love you bro! So this week it has been raining like no other! and speaking of rain, that brings us straight to our funny story of the week!
The victims for funny story of the week are both Elder Bakri and Elder Nae! So like I was saying, it rained quite a bit this week! And Elder Vargas and I were just finishing up a charla at about 9, so we go running to the house right after we finish cause we could see the big storm coming! Luckily we made it in right before it starting raining cats and dogs, but sadly the same could not be said for poor Elder Bakri and Elder Nae. It started to rain like it had never rained before! Hurricane winds, hail the size of golf balls (haha jk there wasn't hail) but while we were waiting for them we got all there towels ready so they dry off as quickly as possible, and while we did that, that back door flew off from the wind haha that is not a joke. Finally Elder Bakri and Elder Nae arrived, looking like they had just hopped out of the pool haha. Pobrecitos. (Poor guys.) Real bad storm.
So this week I had some experiences that really let me know that the Lord is hastening his work. Because we know that if the Lord is hastening his work than obviously the enemy his going to be hastening his, because he knows the time is coming when he will have no more power.
So, experience number 1: the awesome family that we found last week, la familia profumo. This week we got the whole family together to watch the video called The Restoration. So everyone has there seats, all comfortable and ready to go. We turn off the lights and it is perfectly silent, perfect environment for the spirit. The movie starts, and its talking about faith and about a young boy, who had a question, and right at that point the POWER GOES OUT!!! And all the kids go what the!? The power never goes out here!
Experience number 2: other family that we are teaching who are super evangelics but super nice. So we get to there house to talk more about the BOM, cause they are super interested in the BOM. So before we start the lesson, the mom says I prayed about the BOM and had a dream (when she said that I was expecting something super awesome.) She goes on and says in my dream a woman came to my house and told me there is something in my house that doesn't belong, and I asked her what? So she comes in and we start looking though all my books and when she saw the BOM she said this doesn't belong here.
Experience number 3: Alex our super awesome investigator who has already read pretty much all the BOM, and who was super excited to go to church this week with his wife, had a loss in his "family." His dog died on Saturday, and he was super depressed and spent the whole day at his dad's house (that is out of our area.)
Also this week we found another awesome family! A reference from a family that recently got converted! They have super deseos de compartir el evangelio! We also had the baptism of the lider misional son! And a bunch of investigators came! Sadly this week Diego didn't get there because his grandparents were in Montevideo all week, but he should be getting baptized the semana que viene.
So that was my crazy letter. I just want to leave you guys with my testimony that I know that Lord is hastening is work around the world! I know that he is preparing his children so that they can all be spiritually prepared and protected. I know that by doing basic things we are really doing the vital things in order to be built about the rock of our savior. I know that he lives and I know that he loves us.
