HEY how is everyone going!! I don't have much time to write because I am getting transferred today! I will be in Rivera in barrio Tres Cruses by tomorrow! A place where I heard they speak more portuguese than spanish, so right when I thought a hold of the mission language of spanish...it changes to portuguese! Haha I will tell you how it really is when I get there.
But I just want to give a shout out to mi querido bella union and mi comp Elder Sanchez who is a stud and I learned so much from him, from espanol to how to preach this gospel. But I am always going to remember this beautiful place where I was born into the mission. The members here were so awesome, especially the bishop! He was always happy go lucky all the time, and I mean all the time! One day you all will need to come here and meet all these amazing people! So start planning your trip now, haha but yes at the same time I will miss all the wonderful families that we were teaching whether it was menos activo or investigadores, I hope that they can all continue strong in the gospel and always listen to those little impressions that come from the spirtit, so that they can receive there answers to their prayers or have there testimonios restrengthened.
I just want to share a little part of a talk that my amazing district leader Elder Gutierrez gave this last week (who I am going to miss like crazy!) But he gave a little example about how he honestly need to share the gospel with everyone! He said imagine when we all go up to heaven and we see the people that we passed on the streets or who we passed on the bus, and we see that they are not with us in heaven yet. You know what they are going to say to us?... Porque no me dijiste? ..Porque no me dijiste que yo podria tener una familia eterna y que Dios y Jesucristo me amazon? (Why did you not tell me? Why did you not tell me…that I could have an eternal family and that God and Jesus loved me?)
I honestly know that people waiting to hear the "good news" of the gospel. I have seen it in the mission. I know there are people all around the world who are ready to listen, sólo hay que abrir la boca (just open your mouth.) And I know that when we at least do that, that Heavenly Father helps us out with the rest. No importa el idoma. (No matter what.)
I love you all mis amigos y familiares, compartan el evangelio con todos sus amigos! (I love you all my friends and family, share the gospel with all your friends!)
