Week 17: A plan for all of us that is perfectly perfect.

Hola a TODOS!

 

I don't have much time to write this week, so sorry if this letter is a little short.

 

My new comp is Elder Sanchez! He is from mexico and he has been in the mission for 21 months!! Haha so far all of my comps are super experienced! He is awesome, and he is probably the exact opposite of Elder Duke, haha as in he only speaks spanish! But I love it! Even though it is a little weird that there is absolutely nobody that i can english with here in Bella Union.

 

But this week something very sad happened. Earlier in the week I sent a text to Juan Ramon to see when we could come by and he told me that he had found a job in Montevideo, and that he is moving there.. so he won't be here for the 19th of Octubre (his baptism date) but he told us that he is going to continue going to the church in Montevideo and that speaking with the missionaries there. So I hope that all going well with him. Even though I wish he could have stayed in Bella Union :( but other than that we had a great week in the church! We had almost 65 people come this week and all the members gave there testimonies about the temple because as a ward they went last Saturday. Even my favorite little buddy emmanuel gave his testimony again, I know iI shouldn't pick favorites but he is my favorite!!

 

I just want to say that I am so grateful for a Heavenly Father that loves me and that made a plan for all of us that is perfectly perfect. I know that we all decided to follow his plan and his son Jesus Christ when we lived with him before this life. I know that it was hard for Heavenly Father do let us leave our Heavenly home but he loves us so much that he has given us profetas, las escrituras, the holy ghost and even provided us with a Savior, Jesus Christ, to help us return back to live with him. I am so grateful for the chance I have everyday to make this plan known to my brothers and sisters so that they can know how to make it back home.
